DIXON (WIFR) -- Grammy nominated John Ford Coley (formerly of England Dan and John Ford Coley) and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Terry Sylvester (formerly of The Hollies) will be taking the stage together for a unique acoustic concert experience at 7:30 p.m. on March 23 at the Historic Dixon Theatre.
The Classic Rock legends will be playing many of the songs that made them famous years ago with their previous bands. For Coley, it was songs like "I'd really love to see you tonight," "It's sad to belong," and "Love is the answer."
And for Sylvester, it was "Long cool woman in a black dress," "The air that I breathe," and "Carrie Ann." The concert will feature "songs from the Hollies & Swinging Blue Jeans hits, plus songs and stories from his early days at the Cavern Club, where he appeared with the Beatles & the rest of the great groups from that wonderful era."
"We're very excited to have two Classic Rock icons coming to the Dixon Theatre," Josh Albrecht, executive director of Dixon Main Street said. "The uniqueness of the acoustic concert will definitely make it a special experience."
