City of Freeport Ask Residents to Complete Housing Needs Survey

FREEPORT (WIFR) -- The City of Freeport plans to apply for grant funding to perform housing rehabilitation work to bring homes up to code standard for low to moderate income individuals and families in our community. One requirement of the application process is a City-wide housing needs survey.

“We are asking that Freeport residents take a few moments to complete the survey. The results will help us present a strong grant application, which will help us bring this much-needed grant funding to our community,” said Shelly Griswold, Community Development Director.

Copies of the survey have been included in residents’ water & sewer bill, online at the City of Freeport website, www.cityoffreeport.org, and available in the Community Development Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 524 West Stephenson Street, Freeport. Residents may also complete the survey on-line through a link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CityofFreeport.. Survey responses will be accepted through February 1, 2013.
