City and Nightclub Settle Liquor Complaint

By  |

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- San Jose nightclub has officially given up its liquor license and the city of Rockford has agreed not to sue the owners for the deadly violence that broke out at the club earlier this month.

The city of Rockford just released a statement saying San Jose will have to pay a fine of about $630 and the city won't take further action against San Jose for what happened at the club. You may remember gunfire broke out in the parking lot and two men died in the aftermath. No alcohol can be sold on the property until a new liquor license is issued to a new owner.
