ROCKFORD (WIFR)-- Rockford City Council has approved the 2013 tax levy.
It is the same one as the year before which will bring in more than $52 million to city coffers.
This means most homeowners in Rockford will not have to pay more in property taxes next year. However if your home value did not drop much, you may have to a little more.
This year, Rockford home values dropped 7.3%. The city still faces about a million dollar deficit.
