ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford couple came home from running last minute errands to find smoke shooting through the roof.
About two dozen firefighters helped get the fire under control at this home on Westview Drive around 10:30 a.m. Monday. Fortunately it was mostly contained to the attic. Firefighters haven't said how it started. Damage estimates remain unknown.
