ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A little boy learns a serious lesson about the dangers of playing with matches after catching his house on fire.
The fire started just before midnight at 222 Waldo Street in Rockford. Flames were shooting out of the second story of the home when firefighters arrived. They got the fire out quickly, but it still caused about $30,000 in damages. No one was hurt in the blaze.
The Red Cross helped the three adults and two kids who live in the home find somewhere else to stay.
