Chief Judge McGraw Selected as Vice-Chairman of Illinois Conference of Chief Judges

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- 17th Judicial Circuit Court Chief Judge Joseph McGraw has been selected as the Vice-Chairman of the Illinois Conference of Chief Judges.

The Illinois Conference of Chief Judges was established and operates under the authority of the Illinois Supreme Court. The Conference of Chief Judges is responsible for considering problems relating to the administration of the 23 Circuit Courts in Illinois and other matters as referred by the Illinois Supreme Court.

A duly elected Chief Judge from each judicial circuit serves as a member of the Conference of Chief Judges.

The Conference of Chief Judges regularly meets on a monthly basis.

Chief Judge McGraw was selected as Vice-Chairman of the Conference of Chief Judges on April 25, 2014.
