ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The driver who crashed a car into a Rockford apartment building this evening, left the scene.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. at 1107 Arthur Ave., that's on Rockford's west side.
The car slammed into a ground-unit window of the apartment building. Police say the female driver took off on foot after the crash. But they now have her in custody.
