CHERRY VALLEY (WIFR) -- The Salvation Army's "Can-Struction Project" is finally coming to life.
Over the last month the non profit group has been collecting cans with labels that are colors of the American flag. On Wednesday local architects and students started building a flag from those cans which will hang in center court of the CherryVale Mall. All of the canned goods donated for the project will go to the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
