WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- There are 10 cameras mounted on tornado sirens on the west side of Winnebago County and while there's nothing to see now, it was a different story Monday night.
The cameras were installed earlier this year and Monday was one of the first test during severe weather. The video feeds were pulled up all night in the Winnebago County Emergency Operations Center in the basement of the jail.
The county wants to install four more cameras, they're still trying to figure out which spots need more coverage.
