Caledonia Homes Destroyed in Tornado

CALEDONIA (WIFR) -- "You see, it pretty much destroyed everything."

When Caledonia resident Tim Collins pulled up to his home in the 2500 block of Route 173, he found half of his house gone. He had some animals inside but they were not hurt.

It was a similar situation next door. Penny Kolb's dogs were not harmed and luckily neither was she because she was inside her home when the tornado hit.

But this isn't her first time being stuck in a storm; she was trapped in the tornado that hit Belvidere a couple of years ago.

"It hit me and I was just in total tears for probably a good half hour just thinking 'oh my god, I survived another one,'" describes teary-eyed Kolb.
