An annual celebration is lighting up the parks this weekend.
The annual "Light Up the Parks" holiday parade traveled from Schinder Electric to the intersection of Elm and Roosevelt Road.
The 23 news team also took part in the celebration. More than 45 organization participated. Hundreds lined the streets while candy was thrown out to young children.
Awards were given out for Best Business Entry, Best Community, Best Youth and the Mayors' Award.
