CRYSTAL, MN (WIFR) -- A Minnesota clothing company is offering an easy way to keep the pests away this summer.
The Ticked Off Clothing Company just declared war on the biting bugs. In May the company started selling apparel treated with the powerful insecticide permethrin.
The U.S. Army is already treating most military clothing with the chemical but only a few companies sell that type of clothing. The insecticide is approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Perhaps the biggest perk, anyone wearing the clothing won't have to use any more lotions or sprays.
