ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Local Boy Scouts have announced this year's winners of the "Champion of Youth Awards".
They're Vicki Benson of Rosie's Birthday Club, which provides birthday parties and gifts to children in need. And Illinois Children's Home + Aid, for their EPIC Program and MotherHouse. Members with the Blackhawk Area Council of Boy Scouts of America say it's great to highlight those that help out in the Forest City.
The awards will be handed out next Wednesday.
