ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Potholes one of the many issues brought up Saturday by people meeting with the mayor and their aldermen for the Better Rockford Today movement.
Mayor Morrissey, along with Aldermen Oddo and Chiarelli answered questions and heard what changes their neighbors want to see in our city.
Many say they want to see more businesses coming to Rockford, and existing businesses to expand and hire more workers. Others want changes to the education system.
This was just the second meeting for Better Rockford Today movement which has a big emphasis on social media to engage more young people.
"These younger people are our future and they have children within the school districts, so some of the things are very important to them and it is kind of disheartening when you find that the younger people are not showing up," Ald. Jeanne Oddo, said.
This is all leading up to the mayor's State of the City address on April 9.
