Beloit Police Looking for Suspect in Walgreens Robbery

BELOIT (WIFR) -- The Beloit Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at the Walgreens in the 1900 Block of Prairie Avenue in Beloit on July 17th.

The victim clerk says they were approached by the suspect at the Pharmacy counter, who then allegedly handed over a note indicating he had a weapon and demanding some controlled medications. The suspect was given an undetermined number of pills.

The suspect then exited the store and left in a vehicle described as a white van that had a ladder rack on it.

The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 5’10”, medium build, with some facial hair wearing a white baseball cap, white t-shirt, and plaid shorts.

The Beloit Police Department was provided video surveillance which captured the suspect. The suspect has subsequently been identified as:
28-year-old Justin Drost with a last known address in Beloit Wisconsin.

The Beloit Police Department is attempting to locate Justin Drost. Drost is also wanted for warrants through the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Corrections. The investigation is ongoing.
