Beloit Man Sentenced for Heroin Distribution

BELOIT (WIFR) -- 30-year-old Kelvin Haley, 30, of Beloit, was sentenced April 24th by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 42 months imprisonment and 6 years of supervised release to follow, for distribution of heroin in August through
September of 2012.

On January 29, 2013 Haley pleaded guilty to a single count of heroin delivery that occurred on August 27, 2012.
Haley was sentenced based not only upon his delivery of heroin on nine occasions from August through September, but also evidence that he delivered crack cocaine on 3 occasions in the Spring of 2012, all while he was on probation for other
offenses.

The charge against Kelvin Haley was the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, which consists of the Beloit Police Department, Rock County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
