ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Tonight, families are preparing for the BMO Harris Bank Center's latest live show.
We got a sneak peek of a "Batman Live" rehearsal this afternoon. The $15 million stage production opens tonight. 42 actors and trained acrobats have transformed the BMO into Gotham City. Batman and Robin will take on some of the series' most famous villains, with the help of a specially designed bat-mobile and it's all interactive.
"American audiences just get it better, I mean they really do, and it's great. There's certain bits where they cheer and get involved, and it's like a sort of communal experience. It's like the audience really is a part of it. It's just unique. Unlike anything I've ever done before,” said Jack Walker who plays the Caped Crusader.
Tickets are still available for tonight's performance.
