STATELINE (WIFR) -- The Stateline’s fight against breast cancer is getting a big boost from a local bank. Riverside Community Bank’s pink debit card program has raised over $3,000 since May. Today, they donated that money to Crusader Community Health. The organization says it will use the funds to help women pay for mammograms, who otherwise couldn’t afford them. Joan Tucker is a breast cancer survivor who says she wouldn’t be here today if not for early screening.
"There are so many people who suffer from possible breast cancer who are not aware of the organizations out there. As a community, to be able to outreach to people, it's just beyond words,” said Tucker.
