Machesney Park (WIFR) -- A guy who robbed a local cash and loan store with a fake gun is heading to prison.
Christoper Fuller, 35, pleaded guilty Wednesday to armed robbery and was sentenced to four years.
Back in April 2014, Winnebago County deputies arrested Fuller hours after he held up the All Credit Lenders store on North Second Street in Machesney Park. Investigators say they found a toy handgun near the business.
MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) -- The man who Winnebago County Sheriff's deputies say held a cash store at gunpoint likely used a fake gun.
The suspect, 35-year-old Christopher Fuller was arrested Friday night. Winnebago County Sheriff's deputies say he walked into the All Credit Lenders store on North Second Street in Machesney Park around 1pm Friday afternoon, showed a gun and demanded money, then ran off. Investigators say they found a toy handgun near the store. Fuller is in jail charged with aggravated robbery.
MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) – Police in Machesney Park are searching for the man they say held a credit store employee at gunpoint this afternoon.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies say the masked gunman walked into the Credit Lenders on North Second Street just after 1:00 Friday afternoon, stole some cash and took off. The suspect is described as a white man about 6’ tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a brown shirt and a black hoodie with a bird-type logo on the back of the hoodie.
