Rockford Burglary Suspect Sentenced to 8 Years

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford man accused of breaking into more than 15 homes around the Stateline is heading back to prison.

William Hall, 28, was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty Wednesday to possession of a stolen fire arm and for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Hall was caught by police in April 2014 after he tried to run from officers on 19th Street in Rockford where investigators found stolen items and guns inside a house.



ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police believe they have the man responsible for burglarizing 15 homes in Stateline with the most recent happening in Poplar Grove.

28-year-old William Hall was caught by police after he tried to run from officers Monday night on 19th Street in Rockford where investigators found stolen items and guns inside the house.

Detectives are also looking for other men who may be involved. Right now, Hall is being charged with just one of the crimes.
