WHEN: 10 to 11:15 a.m.
WHO/WHERE: Anna Page Park, 3102 N. Springfield Ave., Rockford.
WHAT: About 32,000 plastic eggs are stuffed with trinkets, and about 1,500 kids and adults typically attend. Family activities for all ages will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m., and music will be provided by Super Stoli. The Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. for children ages 2-7, who will be grouped by ages: 2, 3-4-5, and 6-7. The event will continue while eggs last. All children will be provided a bag for collecting eggs; no outside bags/containers allowed.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
WHERE: Egg hunts at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Discovery Center Museum, 711 N. Main St., and Burpee Museum of Natural History, 737 N. Main St., both in Rockford.
WHAT: For children ages 9 years old and younger. Hunts will be for split for children of various ages. Check in at either location. Springtime crafts and art activities will be at both locations. Cost is $11 for children, $8 for adults and includes admission to both museums. Ages 1 and younger are free.

WHO/WHERE: St. Mark Lutheran Church, 675 N. Mulford Road, Rockford.
WHAT: Easter Egg Hunt for up to fourth grade. Bring a basket and take a photo for free with the Easter Bunny. Bring donations of individually wrapped child-friendly treats such as granola bars, fruit snacks and cheese crackers for Rock House Kids.

WHEN: 10 a.m., with registration at 9:45 a.m.
WHO/WHERE: GPS Faith Community, 10714 N. Second St., Machesney Park.
WHAT: Egg Hunt is for children up to 12 years old. Bring a camera and take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

WHO/WHERE: Harlem United Methodist Church, 8401 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park.
WHAT: Hunt for ages 3 through fifth grade. Bags for the eggs will be provided.

WHEN: 1 to 3 p.m.
WHO/WHERE: Creekwood Church, 7281 Olde Creek Road, Rockford.
WHAT: Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt. The free children’s egg hunt will be conducted from 1 to 2 p.m. for children under the age of 12. Participants are asked to bring bags or baskets for the candy-filled eggs. A Doggy Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Dogs must be leashed while looking for eggs filled with dog treats.

WHEN: 1 to 3 p.m.
WHO/WHERE: Kishwaukee Baptist Church, 2742 Ninth St., Rockford. Easter Egg Hunt and Biker Blessing (2 wheels, 3 wheels, motorized or non, i.e. motorcycles or bicycles).
WHAT: Egg hunt is for preschool and kindergarten through fifth grade. Each age group will be separated for the hunt. Large prize for each age group. Candy, trinkets and prizes will be handed out per how many eggs each child finds.

WHEN: 1 to 3 p.m.,
WHO/WHERE: Don Schmid Youth Sports Complex, 3520 Kishwaukee St., Rockford.
WHAT: Spring Egg Hunt for ages 2 to 12. Bring your own bag or basket.

SUNDAY, APRIL 20, 2014

WHEN: 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. during each of three services
WHO/WHERE: Rockford First, 5950 Spring Creek Road, Rockford.
WHAT: For those at least 2 years old through fifth grade, as well as for Champions Club kids and Champions Club teens. Adults will attend the service and children will attend a chapel service and enjoy an Easter Egg hunt. Children should only attend one hunt.

WHEN: 11:30 to 1 p.m. April 26
WHERE: Athletic fields at Rock Valley College, 3301 North Mulford Road, Rockford.
WHAT: This event was rained out on April 12. For ages 3-12. Kids ages 3-5 must be accompanied by an adult during the egg hunt. Free. Bags will be provided for the kids to collect eggs.
