DOWNTOWN ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Dozens of state employees were protesting out side of the Zeke Georgi Building Downtown Rockford Thursday afternoon.
The members of the AFSCME Local 448 say they have been working without a contract since June 30th and they have not received their raises from the state. They are calling on Governor Quinn to get involved in the negotiation process, so they can reach a deal.
