Rockford Man Arrested for Attempted Murder
A Rockford man is in jail after allegedly trying to kill two people, by hitting them with his car.

ROCKFORD - (WIFR) 19-year-old Christian Antczak is in the Boone County Jail for attempted murder.

Police say early Sunday morning, Antczak hit 23-year-old Kriston Martin and 20-year-old Jessica Leanos with his car in Belvidere.

Apparently a fight broke out at a party and that's when Antczak allegedly hit the two on purpose.

police found him walking a short time later, about a mile away from his car.

Right now Martin remains in critical condition at Saint Anthony Medical Center. Leanos is in stable condition.

I wanna get this clear i was there this happened and yes christian and his friends were getting jumped but they also started running there mouths in somebody elses house and knew very few people there over something so silly. Kriston (donte) and jessica didnt deserve to get hit with a car.

He will get whats coming to him in prison.

He'll have plenty to fight off when he goes to prison being less than five foot. What a coward
