Wind Farm Petitions Ruled Invalid
A controversial wind farm debate continues in Stephenson County. A ruling last week denies a petition to prevent making it easier to bring wind turbines to the county. The decision has some residents up in arms.

There seems to be a strong odor in the air. If names were eliminated because they were "illegible" and the petition was only five names short, it does seem convenient. Illegible could be very subjective. Who says the board does the will of the people? If the State’s Attorney had wanted to be fair and proper, you would think he would have called the people.
