Thursday it was a three-month-old baby that probably stopped the tracks of some car thieves.
A mother left her daughter in the car and walked into Bobby's on Broadway, a local pawn shop, but in just a few short minutes the car was gone and the mother started to scream.
Wayne Webster owns several pieces of property on Broadway. He caught the thieves taking the mother's car on camera, cameras he's installed on one of his buildings because of frequent crime in that area.
Thirty-one-year-old Edward Lee, who stole the car, dropped the baby off at the downtown public safety building. The baby was unharmed.
Lee and his 33-year-old passenger, Marcy Sinkiawic, were arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.
