9/11 Remembered

Our entire nation is pausing today to remember that fateful day as well as the nearly 3,000 people who died at the hands of the terrorists.

In Washington, New York, and Pennsylvania moments of silence and the tolling of bells marked some of the most devastating moments on our country's history.

Four moments of silence in New York, two to mark when the jetliners hit the twin towers, two more to mark when they collapsed.

A permanent memorial for victims of the September 11Th attacks is scheduled to open two years from today.
