For those of us looking to make a real difference in the life of a child, here's a new opportunity. It's called "One Caring Adult", a program that The Mill officially kicked off Wednesday.
The Mill is looking for about 50 volunteers to commit an hour or two a week to mentor kids who live and take part in activities there.
Program organizers say that the presence of an adult role mode in the kids' lives will not only provide stability for the kids, but will also prove a rewarding experience for the mentors themselves.
If you're interested in becoming a part of "One Caring Adult" please call The Mill at 877-3440.
