Bisphonal-A, known as BPA, the chemical most widely found in baby bottles has now been found in canned goods.
This year the FDA warned about exposing the chemical to fetuses, infants and young children.
Recent studies on lab animals have linked BPA to cancer, diabetes and obesity.
Most recently, researchers looked at a pregnant woman in her 20's. If she drank one can of soda, along with a single serving of canned green beans, she would digest the amount of BPA found to cause health problems in animals.
However, the Chemical Industry Council still backs BPA, sayings its safe in cans.

Well of course they will say it's harmless because then the money will shorten, it's all about the buck! What do you call people that don't care if a person live or die, for a dollar? I think I'll grow me a garden because then I'll know what the hell I'm eating! Stop canning foods if you know this to be true dummies! I won't be trying to buy food if it aint in a jar, are jars safe? What next?

So the Chemical Industry Council is arguing against research? Way to go! We aren't diseased enough and dropping dead young enough.
