The Ogle County Office of Emergency Management and the Ogle County Sheriff are issuing a recommendation to people living in low lying areas along the Rock River in Ogle County and for those in low lying areas along the Kilbuck Creek in Lynnville Township (Lindenwood area) in Ogle County.
Residents in those affected areas should begin planning for evacuation due to rising flood waters.
Kilbuck Creek in Lindenwood is flooding and sandbagging operations are ongoing.
American Red Cross is in the process of arranging for and setting up appropriate shelter facilities for those who are evacuating and in need of shelter.
