BROOKLYN, N.Y. (AP) -- A New York company is recalling two kinds of toothpaste that may be on Illinois shelves.
Donnamax Incorporated of Brooklyn, New York, is recalling DentaPro brand Cavity Fighting Fluoride Toothpaste Fresh Spearmint Flavor and Bright Max Toothpaste.
The products were made in China and may contain a chemical found in antifreeze that is toxic to the kidneys and liver.
The company says no illnesses have been reported.
The products were sold to retail stores in Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Idaho.
