One community has gone to special lengths to get the no smoking message to kids. In La Crosse, Health Department spokesperson Judy Zaber says they've made presentations to more than 2,500 youth, including high schoolers, talking to middle schoolers and middle schoolers talking to elementary school students.
Central High sophomore Sarah Butterfield says pictures of smokers' lungs in health class has helped deter her from smoking.
