My basement as well as many others in the area were flooded with sewage. I made contact with the Rock River Reclamation Center to report and they did send someone promptly. The only complaint I have is the fact that shortly there after they were checking the area better and to me there was a problem before the rain so now to save the city, I'm sure they pumped the sewers. I do have flood insurance but this is a city problem. Where is the help so long needed for the city of Rockford? Where do the "small and forgotten nieghborhoods get help? I feel for those near Charles St & 20th that was a problem the city never took care of, so now of course we have more familys without their homes and belongings. When of course we have money to buy Hockey Teams, ect. ect. I feel no need to go on you get the point! So where do we go from here? ? Please don't set the people aside thats why we live in the United States of America.
