The number of flights going in and out of O’Hare is decreasing. The Federal Aviation Administration issues hourly flight-reduction goals.
The move is an attempt to eliminate delays at O'Hare that affect air traffic operations across the country.
The FAA recommends the number of arrivals at O'Hare go from 120 flights an hour to 90 flights an hour.
More than 56,000 flight delays were recorded at O'Hare through June this year.
