The victim was identified as Felicia Ann Buckel of Rolling Meadows. She was swimming with family friends when she disappeared late Friday afternoon. A massive search and rescue effort got underway. It wasn't until around 10:30 Friday night that recovery crews found the girl's body seven feet underwater. Right now, authorties say the drowning appears to be an accident, but it's not clear how or why it happened. "There's no indication that she got pulled under. There's no indication that she got caught on something . She just disappeared under the surface and did not reappear.," said Stephenson County Sheriff Dave Snyders. Sheriff Snyders says the girl initially went out on a pontoon with family friends and then went into the water for a swim. He says there was at least one adult on the boat, but he doens't think the girl wasn't wearing a life jacket.
