ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis-based supermarket chain is pulling its brand of French style green beans from the shelves of more than 100 stores in several states, including Illinois.
Schnucks is making that move because of concerns about possible contamination.
The chain is recalling Schnucks Blue Lake French Style Green Beans from all Schnucks and Logli stores.
The company says a batch of green beans may have been undercooked and could be contaminated with harmful organisms.
Customers in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi are asked to return the green beans to their local stores for a refund.
