Woman Recovering After Shooting in Rockford
A 22-year-old woman is recovering after being shot in the stomach.

It happened just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, in the 3300 block of Sablewood, that's on the northwest side of Rockford.

Police say when some unwanted guests showed up to a house party, they were escorted out. That's when they came back and started shooting at the house.

One woman inside was hit. She was taken to Rockford Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
