Four Injured in Rock County Rollover Accident
Four people were ejected from a car after trying to pass a car and losing control of the vehicle.

It happened around 10 p.m. Friday night on West County Highway M, about half a mile east of North Staff Road in Fulton, that's in Rock County.

Authorities say 24-year-old Chad Hermanson of Edgerton was headed eastbound when he passed the car in front of him. When he tried to get back into his lane, he lost control causing the car to flip.

Both Hermanson and his three passengers were ejected from the car.

Hermanson was transported to Mercy Hospital in Janesville, and later transported to UW-Hospital in Madison with spinal injuries. He was arrested for Causing Great Bodily Harm by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle, Causing Great Bodily Harm by Reckless Driving, Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed and Failure to Fasten Seatbelt.

Passengers, Wade T. Janes, age 24, of Evansville, was transported to Edgerton Hospital with head injuries and a dislocated hip.

Nicholas A. Manion, age 24, of Evansville, was transported to Mercy Hospital with head injuries, a collapsed lung and dislocated hip.

Ashley J. Tomlin, age 23, of Madison, was transported to Mercy Hospital with head and neck injuries, a broken pelvis, and a dislocated hip was transported to Mercy Hospital with head and neck injuries, a broken pelvis, and a dislocated hip.

All three passengers were cited for seatbelt violations as well.
