Galapagos Charter School in Rockford will be expanding next school year. The facility will be adding additional classes to every grade level, K-6, so they will be in need of about five or six additional teachers.
Leaders say they've already received about 2,000 applications, but they are still accepting more.
The CEO of Galapagos says whoever gets the job will absolutely love it.
"We're very competitive, I think we offer a great environment, a great professional environment for instructors, and I think the instructors we have here right now are not only great instructors, but really enjoy their jobs here," says Michael Lane, CEO of Galapagos.
Galapagos is accepting applications online at galapagoscharter.org.
The school will also be holding a fair April 10th for interested instructors, as well as families who want to attend next year.
