It happened about noon at a grain company in Steward, just south of Rochelle.
Lee County Sheriff John Varga identifies the victim as 37-year-old Douglas Seaney. He says Seaney went inside a bin to loosen some grain, when he apparently fell into the grain.
It took rescue crews three hours to find him. Seaney was pronounced dead at the scene.
We're still waiting to hear on his cause of death. Varga says it was most likely suffocation.

It is so sad to see this accident happen. The place that it happened at I think is not owned by ADM but by a local farmer.

So sad. Sometimes we get in a hurry and should have a harness on, but forget about safety first. Unfortunatly many of us are guilty of this. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and coworkers.
