Winnebago County State's Attorney Joe Bruscato says Pamela Greer is facing a lesser charge due to a deal made with a previous administration.
Police say Greer is connected to the shooting death of 67-year-old Wilber Harnden. His body was found in the Indian Hills Forest Preserve in rural Winnebago County.
Meantime, as we told you earlier this week, Greer's co-defendant Frank Lofton, has been found guilty of killing Harnden. He's also facing charges in a 2006 murder. We'll highlight that case on Sunday, in Rockford's Cold Case only on 23 WIFR.
