UPDATE: One Suspect in Rockford Kidnapping in Custody
Rockford police have found one of the suspects who allegedly kidnapped a mother and her child.

Rockford Police say Tavieus Simmons is in custody.

Authorities are still looking for Isaiah Harris Sr., the ex-boyfriend of the victim.

Investigators say around 8 p.m last Wednesday, the two men kidnapped a 20-year-old woman and her one-year-old son near South Main and Knowlton Avenue. That's when they were forced into a car at gunpoint.

Three hours later, the victims were released unharmed near Auburn and Kilburn in Rockford.

A warrant has now been issued for Harris and Simmons. If you have any information call Rockford police at 815-987-5824.

Well tip if you know something the PoPo don't, then set up meeting with them and set them straight. Apparently YOU have first hand knowledge of what happened and you should share it.
