Street clothes could soon be banned at one Rockford elementary school. The latest school to look at a uniform policy is Whitehead Elementary.
Some say clothing can lead to peer pressure and poor academic performance.
District Superintendent Dr. Dennis Thompson says by no means is he planning on a district wide uniform policy.
The board will vote on this change in dress at their next meeting.
