Employment May Dip

By  |

The temp agency, Manpower, is releasing a dim forecast for jobseekers.

Manpower says based on research for the last few months of the year, 60 percent of employers in Rockford say they will not change their workforce, but 23 percent say they will cut back.

But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. New employment opportunities are expected this fall in transportation and public utilities.

Manpower says reductions are planned in construction and finance, insurance and real estate, while wholesale and retail remain mixed.
