Stretch of I-88 to Be Named for Ronald Reagan

Governor Rod Blagojevich today issued an executive order renaming the part of the highway managed by the state Transportation Department in honor of Reagan, who died over the weekend.

Blagojevich says he's also asked the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority to name the portion of I-88 under its jurisdiction for Reagan as well.

The governor says he decided to honor Reagan to recognize his accomplishments and everything he did for America.
