UNDATED (AP) -- Illinois State Police are planning a two-week statewide crackdown on drunken drivers to coincide with the Fourth of July holiday.
The increased patrols and a stepped up "You Drink, You Drive, You Lose" media campaign are expected to cost about one (m) million dollars, according to I-S-P.
It's to be paid for by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
State police says the effort kicks off Monday and will continue through July Eighth.
