Harley spokesman Bob Klein says the objective is to export American-made motorcycles to China. Klein says the company has no intention of manufacturing bikes in China.
Harley won't name the Chinese manufacturer or specify what technologies it plans to share.
However, Klein says it's not technology that would enable the Chinese partner to copy Harley-Davidson.
