It's estimated over 20 million Americans have type 2 diabetes, a medical condition that can lead to life threatening complications but there's new research that shows a special diet can help and a doctor's on his way to Rockford to tell us about it.
Type 2 diabetes can cause heart and kidney disease, stokes, and nervous system damage. Now Doctor Neal Barnard says his nutritional research shows the killer disease is reversible with a low fat vegan diet.
