Officials Identify 22 Year Old Shooting Victim
Rockford Police are investigating the overnight murder of a 22-year old-man.

Rockford Police are investigating the overnight murder of a 22-year old-man.
22-year old Lamarcus Banks of Rockford died this morning at Rockford Memorial Hospital after being shot multiple times. It happened a little before midnight near the intersection of Elm St. and Concord Ave. which is right off West State St. on Rockford's Northwest side. Security officers working in the Concord Commons Housing Complex say they saw a blue or black mid-sized vehicle drive away from the scene heading East.
Right now police have no suspects in custody. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday afternoon. If you have any information on this crime please call Rockford Police at 815-987-5824.
