UNDATED (AP) -- Police say it's a desperate and bold crime.
A-T-M cash machines have been ripped from three convenience stores in Portage and Marathon counties in the last month.
Police say the thieves used crow bars to break into the buildings, chained the A-T-Ms to a pick up truck and pulled away.
A Portage County detective says in one case, it took a little over a minute for the thieves to break in and take the machine.
Three masked suspects are shown on surveillance video from the stores.
